Committee of 100
The Committee of 100 is an expanding group of like-minded individuals and corporations who see the need to increase the level of financial support for African-American students at UT Arlington. The Committee was founded in 2008 under the auspices of the African-American Chapter of the UT Arlington Alumni Association with Maxwell C. Scarlett, M.D. ’66 as Chairman.
Committee membership does not necessarily require physical presence of members. We meet through our mutual financial goal. Our goal is to strengthen the existing African-American Endowed Scholarship Fund through the collective efforts of one hundred $1,000 donors who consistently renew that commitment annually. Those who donate the initial $1,000 on or before December 31, 2009, will be designated charter members of the Committee.
You may join the Committee of 100 by Mail or Online.
If paying by mail, please send a check for $1,000 payable to UT Arlington Alumni Association.
